Mixed Media work
Mono printing:
The aim was to create a variety of backgrounds using traditional and non traditional media. For the background on these pieces I experimented with coloured tissue paper and foil. I used black ink and equipment to implement marks with pens, plastic forks, bubble wrap, paint brushes and using my own fingernail to create these prints.
Fusion dye collage:
With using Brusho paint in numerous colours and kitchen roll i was able to create a collage by using different styles of folding, scrunching and dipping into the Brusho. The aim was to create a collage out of our own direction in future which we want to pursue.
Acrylic Resist:
Using Acrylic paints and experimenting with creating different prints with using raised wall paper samples, stencils, bubble wrap and using implements such as paint brush, fork, glue spreader etc. When the marking were made on the acrylic paint had dried I then used different coloured Brusho paints on top which defined the different raised areas and the markings..
