FMP

Final major project has started now which is pretty scary and over the Easter holidays I have been set to do research on coming up with ideas to base a project on. My specialist area I want to go into is Game Design and since I don't know how to use the proper software to create a game yet I've decided I want to do concept art since I love doing Illustrations. My project will be called 'Digital versus Drawing' and at the moment I have been researching into all different types of concept artist and different areas in games design such environment design, landscape design, Character design etc. I've decided to have a go at doing some research into Landscape design and I went out and took photos of different locations with beautiful landscapes. I visited Allonby beach during the evening to try and catch the sunset, then I went to Buttermere to take photos of different mountains and hills and also to find a waterfall and the last place I visited was Keswick down by the lake. I wanted to take photos for inspiration and also to experiment with my theme of digital versus traditional drawing so these photos will be the starting point with experimenting with different drawing techniques which I will do in my sketch book. Nearly Finished My Final Piece

Almost finished my final piece for the New for Old project. I spent the weekend drawing and colouring the background and now I've finished placing my main character in the scene. I need to add more detail and I'm debating on whether adding more zombies into it.

Zombie

One of the zombies which i'm going to be using in my final piece for my New for Old project I'm creating a zombie scene on a beach for a game. I'm pretty proud of the outcome of this but now I've got to design a few more and draw out my background.

Ink Backgrounds

I've been experimenting with using inks to create unique backgrounds for my project New for Old. These pages will be used for my idea's generation and development process. I will update more on the progress on illustrating on to these backgrounds.

Ceramics

One of my favourite final pieces I have created. The aim of the project was to design and make a container so I decided to make a mushroom.

Record Label Project

 My final piece for my Record Label Project. We had to design a logo for the music students to promote their record labels. We could we could either use names they had came up with or make our own up. I decided I wanted to design my own name and graphics for it. I think the Octopus fits in well with the name as its underwater and the colour blue matches the theme of it all.
