One of my favourite final pieces I have created. The aim of the project was to design and make a container so I decided to make a mushroom.

Record Label Project

 My final piece for my Record Label Project. We had to design a logo for the music students to promote their record labels. We could we could either use names they had came up with or make our own up. I decided I wanted to design my own name and graphics for it. I think the Octopus fits in well with the name as its underwater and the colour blue matches the theme of it all.

Fairy Tales Project

I've finally edited my final piece from my fairy tales project. I'm going to be using this piece to put into my portfolio. My fairy tale was Hansel and Gretel and I had chosen to make an illustrated story sequence. My influence for this piece was my favourite artist Alex Pardee. I wanted to create a piece that was bold and eye catching which I came up with the idea of telling the story through the children's head but decided to add a more dark effect with them being headless and the story coming out of there bodies. The original piece was done on a canvas with watercolours but I wanted to digital enhance the piece to make the colours more vibrant.

Here are some of my samples for my potential final piece. The brief I chosen for my project was to create an illustration of a unique piece. My theme for the project was fruit, I had chosen fruit as I thought I had a lot of potential with exploring the inside and outside of it. I think my strongest sample was the pineapple as I came up with the idea of representing the outside with the pineapple leaves and to show the inside with pineapple slices in circles which I thought met the briefs criteria. I then experimented with different effects on Photoshop, changing the colours and arrangement.
